Digital Superpowers Workshop

Description:

The world of technology is changing fast. If you discover the new tools available to you, you could gain superpowers in your work, life or entrepreneurial projects. This workshop is about leveling up your digital skills by learning about the landscape of digital tools available to you, and getting started on building automation scripts, websites, mobile apps, and web applications by doing hands-on exercises with a variety of no-code software tools.

Learning objectives:

After taking this workshop participants should be able to:
1. Understand the landscape of digital tools available to them for various tasks
2. Identify the possibilities of innovation in combining software tools through API integrations
3. Be able to build automation scripts, websites, mobile apps, and web applications with no-code tools

Instructor Bio:

Mohammad Keyhani is an Associate Professor and Area Chair in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Haskayne School of Business, University of Calgary. His expertise lies in the areas of digital entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial strategy and generativity. Mohammad's research has been published in top tier peer-reviewed journals and presented in international conferences where he has received multiple best paper and best reviewer awards. Mohammad is also a no-code entrepreneur and founder of DigitVibe.com, maker of AIGallery.cc and the Entrepreneur Tools directory, as well as an OnDeck No Code Fellow (ODNC2). His other experiences include roles such as business advisor to multiple startups (see CriticareDx.com and Electrody.com), Lab Strategist at the Creative Destruction Lab Rockies, and a David Rockefeller Fellow at the Trilateral Commission. He received his doctorate in strategic management from the Schulich School of Business, York University in Toronto, Canada, and has a M.Sc. in Entrepreneurship and B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics, both from the University of Tehran, Iran.
